Dion Lee has done it again with his latest collection, Oil and Water. As we all know oil and water are polar opposites, however, this collection comes together perfectly. Lee is back with what he does best : breathtaking structural designs both asymmetric and symmetric with a touch of leather. The clean-cut
lines make this collection a standout. Yet again micro neoprene is present, Lee’s
signature. Pops of orange and royal blue add a surprise element to the exquisite
collection.
Elements of oil flow through the jett black
fluid like black leather pieces in contrast to the element of water seen in blue
fabrics, wet suit like materials and rippled waves with an
almost digitalized print seen on some of the garments.
Water is also reinforced within the swimsuit
collection, featuring high necklines and criss-cross details, making the swimwear easy to wear as a normal piece of clothing.
Lee continues to push the boundaries and time and time again he delivers.
I could go on and on …and on about my love for Dion Lee but I’ll just finish at this : I want everything!
Morgan xx
